is the story of a realisation of a dream. A dream started in a tiny village in the center of Italy 17 years ago, when Fabio, at 18 years old, heard jazz music live for the first time. There were no jazz clubs around, no jazz schools, no jazz radios and no Youtube. That encounter changed his vision about music, before dedicating only to classical and traditional repertoire for saxophone.

From that moment he started envision himself playing and recording in New York with a stellar band one day, just like his idols Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley, John Coltrane and many more.

That day came true on the 7th and 8th of June 2017, when he had the chance to record an album of his own compositions accompanied by astonishing musicians: Jonathan Kreisberg on guitar, Glenn Zaliski on piano, Matt Clohesy on double bass and Colin Stranahan on drums.

Windows and lights was inspired by the birth of his daughter Anna in January 2016 and by the city of Amsterdam (Fabio had been living there for the past 5 years) where they shared the sight of coloured lights emanating from the big windows while biking together around the streets.

It is music speaking about freedom, joy, thankfulness and appreciation for life and its mystery.
